From Triplett Harps of San Luis Obispo, California, the Christina 26 is one of the few harps specifically designed for therapy work, playing in tight spaces with a light meditational tone that is balanced and pure.  By joining the neck into the body of the harp, the harpist is able to see over the harp and view the patients ... or, if in a group play, see the other players. The harp is lightweight and designed to play with a strap and while small, it has standard string spacings so transitioning from a larger harp is easy.  The harp is dedicated (and named after) the makers' niece who fought a long batter against cancer, during which the harp was a significant balm.   The current owner has taken meticulous care of this harp.  The soundboard bears an elegant Celtic knot patter embellishment and it comes with a soft carrying case.  The 26 string version sells new for $2795 and this pre-loved harp is set at $1900.
