rom Ardival Harps of the small village of Strathpeffer in the Scottish Highlands, this grand Renaissance-style, wire-strung clarsach (Scottish for "harp") is a historically accurate reproduction of a harp portrayed in Praetorius's syntagma Musicum of 1619.  The harp is an undecorated 30-string wire harp with 6 silver and 24 brass wires.  The soundbox is oak, and overstated with three large soundholes for excellent tone projection.  The arch and pillar are Sycamore.  Range is C-D. This harp was purchased new in 2022.
