An excellent 15" viola built in a Primrose style from 2006.  Has had a single owner and is in excellent condition. 

This viola has an irregular fine-to medium grain spruce top, and a backplate of single-piece, slab cut maple, highly igureed with strong flame and matching ribs. The viola is varnished in a burnt-reddish umber over a golden ground, consistently applied with very little antiquing. 

Tonally, this viola speaks out well for its smaller size: an excellent viola for the advancing student or serious adult player, especially one of petite stature. Expressive instrument and easy on the eyes!
