Jurgen Klier Violin.  

"Special USA import from the House of Weaver, the Jurgen Klier violins are an excellent entry into German violinmaking. Crafted from moderately figured, two piece maple with a medium-grained spruce top....all European woods of course. This violin was made in 2006 and has had only two owners. It is in excellent condition with nary a scratch on her.  It is rare to find excellent modern German crafted violins at this price and it's condition makes it an excellent choice for an advancing player. Deep resonant tones that projects well allows expressive performance across the full range of voice.

Guarneri pattern  Excellent condition, ready to play with professional set up, newly adjusted.  Aggressively priced, this violin is in near new condition and was very lightly played.  It has a robust voice with excellent balance and projection: ideal for the advancing player.  Normally, these violins are offered at $2500, this violin is priced to sell at $1200.

The Petrov violins, imported by Gatchell Strings, is a keystone of their offering.  Built in China from fine European tonewoods, the "Euro" represents a fine reproduction of classic instruments built in a European pattern.  While the Petrov line is widely available, the "Euros" are limited edition instruments. With a rich oil-based varnish, they exude European excellence, though are priced to be accessible to a wide range of advancing players. In the style of Giovanni Paolo Maggini. With almost three decades of violin making under his belt, Jonathan Cooper has been making violins for the world’s top players blending traditional violin making with a modern appreciation of tone that manifests into a violin of exquisite beauty. Drawing from his own experience as a champion fiddler, Jonathan works from his heart and endows each instrument with a tone that has brightened the halls of traditional music and classical players. Jonathan was trained at the Cremona School of Violin Making (Italy) and brings his craft to his small workshop overlooking Presumpscot Pond in Maine. This full-scale violin was built in 2018 in the style of the Brescian maker of the 16-`7th Century Giovanni Paolo Maggini and is a perfect example of his work. The Eastman 300 line is the mainstay of our Concert violin rental.  The 300 is a perfect instrument for the intermediate player, looking for an enhanced tone, evenly balanced into the 3rd position.  The amber varnish is evenly applied and the backplate is of single piece with enhanced flame.  With a resounding tone that allows for growth towards advanced repertoire, the 300 from Eastman Strings is a perfect choice for the advancing player.  Normally $1350, this violin is attractively priced at $950.  Sold in Excellent condition!

This is a used and unlabeled violin known to be made by the Heinrich Gill workshop in Germany. This instrument was sold new by Vermont Violins in 2004 and has been with the same owner ever since. The instrument is in good condition with a few minor blemishes from standard wear and tear over the years.
