Crafted in the esteemed tradition of the Heinrich Gill workshop, this cello bears the Antonio Bazzini label and represents an excellent balance of quality craftsmanship and affordability. Handcrafted in China under the supervision of the Gill workshop, it features select tonewoods, a rich varnish, and careful attention to setup and tonal balance.
The cello produces a warm, resonant tone with excellent projection, making it a reliable choice for advancing students or adult amateur players. The top is made from fine-grained spruce, while the back and sides are flamed maple, giving the instrument both tonal depth and visual elegance.
This model is known for its responsiveness, clarity, and ease of playability across all registers, making it suitable for ensemble and solo performance alike. It is professionally set up with quality fittings and strings to ensure optimal performance right out of the case.

Part of the student line up from Eastman Strings, the 095 is a hybrid cello with laminated back and carved top and ribs.  The carved Spruce top adds a complete, richer tone than laminated cellos, while the laminated back offers durability that makes this an excellent school cello or one in motion.  This cello is in near-mint condition and was purchased originally by current owner in 2019.  New, these run over $2300 so this is priced to sell!

This cello is a used 7/8 Jay Haide cello set up by Vermont Violins, Inc.

The Jay Haide á l'ancienne line of cellos are brought to you after years of development. While all Jay Haide cellos are hand-made of quality seasoned maple and spruce and have a tone quality and workmanship normally found in instruments costing much more, the á l'ancienne model cellos are made by more senior violin makers with finer quality aged wood for musicians requiring the best tone quality.

The varnish is a new formulation, carefully applied and beautifully antiqued giving each instrument the patina of age, so desired by both musicians and connoisseurs. They are as beautiful tonally as they are visually. The Jay Haide á l'ancienne has been designed for the advanced student and professional who needs an instrument that will compliment and enhance their artistic style.

Recently, we have introduced our special Euro model á l'ancienne, made with the finest aged European maple and spruce. In the short time they have been available these cellos have been a big hit around the world. These very special cellos are only available in limited numbers, but are worth seeking out.

This is a used full size Allessandro Cello that was made in China for Johnson Strings located near Boston, Massachusetts. This instrument is a great cello for an advancing player looking for an affordable instrument.

The strings would likely need to be replaced by the new owner. The bridge is slightly warped but easily fixable and there is damage to one of the edges which is documented in the pictures. Otherwise, this cello is in exceptional shape.

This instrument comes with a case and a bow. The bow would need to be rehaired.

This is a used ¾ Eastman 100 cello from 2009. This instrument is in good condition overall but has several small repairs and nicks in the varnish. This instrument is a great deal for an advancing player who is looking to own a high-quality but affordable instrument.

This is a full-size Scherl & Roth Cello from 1997. This is a model R56E4 and this instrument was made in Germany.

This instrument is a great instrument for a beginning cellist.
