Handcrafted from select European tonewoods, the Hofner 115 model embodies the centuries-old German tradition of violinmaking. Using classic techniques, the Hofner violinmakers produce instruments with easy response, full-bodied tone, and sonorous projection. Finished with a beautiful antique varnish which nods to the rich history of Hofner's beginnings in Schonbach. Includes ebony Parisian eye pegs and endbutton, Despiau "B" level French bridge, ebony tailpiece with E tuner, and Guarneri model ebony chinrest. 4/4 only. Guarneri model. Equipped with Pirastro Evah Pirazzi strings.
