Fine violin bearing the facsimile label of Antonio Gragnani

Fine violin bearing the facsimile label of Antonio Gragnani

$8,000.00

Although certificated as genuine in 1960, more recent appraisals more accurately attest to this being  German instrument built circa 1900.  The instrument is sold in good condition, with tons of personality.  It has a relaxed voice, easy to play and easy to enjoy both as listener and player.  It is robust in the higher octaves, yet speaks with mellifluous tones in the lower register.  The light honey-brown varnish is easy to enjoy as well.   It's looking for a new home with someone to bring it forward into its second century of life.  A great opportunity to get the old sound at a great price.  $8000.
