From the very able workshop of Heinrich Gill(Bubenreuth, Germany) this violin is a classic example of modern violin making.  The model 62 ranks high in the Gill line up and offers a warm substantiated tone, even across the strings and vibrant even into the higher positions.  It is crafted of highly figured maple in two pieces and even, tight grained spruce on the top.  A small edge repair is faintly evident, perfectly repaired.   Otherwise in almost new condition.
