This is a violin made by American maker Joel B. Swett in Rochester, New York in 1904. He built in the Guadagnini style, with transparent orange-brown varnish, well figured maple (Wenberg, pg 283). This is in need of full set up and a bit of varnish restoration work, although the instrument is in generally good shape.

This is a late 19th or early 20th century probably German trade instrumnets crafted in the Stradivari pattern with no legible label. The Back of the scroll bears a “CONSERVATORY” brand. A solid workshop instrument that will produce a nice sound when fully repaired.

This viola is a copy of Antonio Stradivari, bearing a replacated label. .Backseam length of 15.75” This is a beautiful instrument representing fine German workshop craft.

This is an excellent cello crafted in 1983 in the Chicago workshop of Fritz Reuter and Sons. The instrument has a large face crack, but has a beautiful body and scroll. Call for estimate on repair.

This is a 1911 Eduard Reichert workshop violin made in Dresden, Germany. The instrument is in good shape. The lower rib needs to be refitted and then the instrument requires a complete set up (bridge, soundpost, new pegs). Otherwise, the instrument is in good structural condition.

Back: Good Condition

Ribs: Open Seams, Ribs Require Refit at Lower Block

Top: No Damage, Saddle Missing

Head/Neck: Good Condition

Varnish: Wear and Retouch Needed
