In addition, each student chooses 3 elective classes from the following options: orchestra, composition, fiddling, viola for violinists, yoga or art. Advanced students may participate in a chamber music group (additional fee), coached daily. Piano students get to play Piano Duets (for four hands).

A parent is required to accompany the student (or be nearby, on the grounds) throughout each day.

The Institute is an opportunity for parents to share ideas with other parents and teachers, reinforce each other's efforts, and learn new skills for working with their children.
