Paesold Violin

Paesold Violin
A decade ago, Roderich Paesold's Bavarian workshop discovered a treasure: wood from a centuries-old, decommissioned pipe organ. This isn't just old wood; it's tonewood that has been resonating and ageing for centuries, giving these unique violins an unparalleled sound.
Handmade in Germany.
This violin's wood comes from a pipe organ built in the 1500s. It has aged for centuries, and as it did, it vibrated and resonated, awakening its musical properties.
When their master luthiers combine their skill with this unique pipe-organ tonewood, the result is a masterful instrument with a rich, sonorous tone that's easy for any musician to control.
This process awakens the wood's musical properties in a way that modern ageing simply can't replicate.
When you buy a new violin, the age of the wood matters; student instruments may use wood aged for only a few years, while professional ones use wood that has been dried for 10 to 20 years.
Roderich Paesold offers outstanding quality, superb tone and perfect playability for intermediate, advanced and professional players. They use only the best fittings, and award-winning lacquers and spirit finishes.
Each instrument is a work of art, a study in perfection just waiting to be played.
