John Juzek Violin

John Juzek Violin

$8,000.00

Built-in 1954, this John Juzek violin is an upper-level workshop violin probably built in the Markneukirchen region of Germany for Metropolitan Music when the shop was based in New York City. The violin is a Guarneri model, with a rich tone and the gold/red oil varnish associated with the Juzek label. Heat damage to the varnish has been ameliorated, but is still visible. Advanced players can access the color of the instrument on the low and upper ends of the spectrum. The violin can produce tones associated with a more expensive violin, at an affordable price, by players who know how to access them.
