Swedish Workshop Sat. May 11th at Vermont Violins in Montpelier

Sarah Isberg returns to us from Conway, NH to present a "Tune Tune-up" and
teach a beautiful new Swedish tune or two.

Sarah, who lives part of the year in Sweden with her husband Roger, has
studied Swedish fiddling at the Sjöviks Folkhögskola (2012-13) and Eric
Sahlström Institutet (2016-17) with Peter Hedlund and Mia Marin among
others. She has played Swedish fiddle for 15 years and is enthusiastic
about sharing her repertoire with us.

The workshop will run from 4 to 5:30 pm on Sat. May 4 at Vermont Violins'
Montpelier shop at 24 Main St., at the top of the stairs. The entrance is
to the left of the Savoy Theater.

All instruments are welcome, as are all levels, with some mastery of your
instrument.

This workshop will benefit the Summit School of Traditional Music and
Culture, with a suggested $25 donation. Many thanks to Oren Kronick for
graciously donating his Vermont Violins shop space for this event and to
Sarah for her generosity to the Summit School.
